So we are here and waiting for you!!!
Here are some things that we may have forgotten to tell you before we left.
Don't get lured in by the people at the airport. They will pull you every which way to try to rent a car, book a hotel, etc etc. Just make a B-line to your reservation counter.
We are staying at Los Lirios. Come and say hi if you are around!
Hola everyone! Are you getting in the mood for Mexico?
Gary and I are leaving today. We will have our cell phones there. Call us if you need anything.
If you haven't already, please let us know which hotel you will be staying at!
Remember to review the events and leave a message for us at Los Lirios if you need anything.
Hi everyone! We are flying off for Tulum tomorrow. But before we go, here is a map showing the locations for all the wedding events. The beach road can be a bit confusing just in the number of little hotels, so it can really help to see where they are in relation to each other.
We will also have printed copies of this available for everyone once you arrive. See you all in paradise!
Okay, you've just flown in to Cancun, had booked a rental car and picked it up at the airport. What do you do now?
Driving to Tulum from Cancun is very, very easy. But a couple tips can help you on your way.
First thing, release the parking brake in the car before you drive away (I speak from experience)!
Now, follow the signs for 307 SOUTH to Playa del Carmen or Tulum. This is the road you will be on for pretty much the entire trip. It's a straight shot.
saw this fare on hotwire.com

Bridesmaid Bouquet Examples
Ideally I would like something like the following picture.. Colors: white, pink, coral
Examples of other bouquets I like:
Other examples of colors of orchids I like: Cakes
Nice plain white cake with variety of different size roses. Roses should be: white, green, pink. Can also use orchids. Cake should be 3 tiers max. Round shape. Flavor: dulce de leche but the outside frosting should be either white or soft pale yellow. Car Rentals vs Airport Transfers?Sun, 05/25/2008 - 20:26 — robinI have had a lot of questions re: car rental vs. taxi. Here is some info to help you make a decision on what works best for your travel plans. To get to Tulum Pueblo (where some restaurants, the ATM, the supermaket are) from the Tulum beach road (where the hotels are) you need a car. Taxis are available but they definitely run on Tulum time. It costs about $6 per trip, but if you call a taxi to pick you up from your hotel, don't count on a car being there on time or being available right away. Update on Los LiriosFri, 05/30/2008 - 15:52 — robinHi Guys, So I've had a few people inquire at Los Lirios and it seems that they will NOT be doing the stay two nights get the third 50% off for July. That deal ends July 3rd. Boo! So if you were planning on staying there, I guess there is no reason to wait. In addition to our page about Hotels in Tulum, I wanted to post about some more hotels in the area.
Reception DecorationFor the reception area, we would like the following things: Hanging fabric from te ceiling in WHITE.
Table settings: Tablecloth should be natural.
This is the example we liked the most from the tulumweddings.com site. |
