Welcome to the site for Gary and Robin's wedding! Target date: Memorial Day 2008.
Bored on Friday night and YouTube'd "Tulum."
Here are some photos from our first trip to Tulum.
I know that some of you have been looking at hotels for the wedding already. Here is a link for the hotel info.
We took some pictures of the rooms from Los Lirios, La Nueva Vida and Ana y Jose from our last trip. I will be posting them up shortly.
The BIG day! At Ana y Jose Beach Club.
What isn't there to do?! From waterparks to ancient ruins there is something for everyone!
The Mayan Ruins of Tulum
The only Mayan ruins by the beach. This walled ancient city is definitely something to check out while you are in the area.
Sian Ka'an Biosphere Preserve
Snorkeling, bicycling, kayaking .. this is a great spot to spend the day.
Tulum has a variety of hotels. Most are smaller ecological resorts. We definitely don't think AC is a must if you are by the ocean. The breeze keeps you nice and cool.
Just as a note, most of these hotels require a 50% deposit upon your reservation.
So we are getting started on our website... of course, originally I thought 1-2-3 easy, but it's turning out to be a lot more work that I thought. However, I think it's going to be a great tool for the wedding. Hopefully, our guests will use it prepare themselves for the trip. I really hope that people will use the forums and check the blog regularly. Ideally I would like the website to be a hub for people to get to know each other before the wedding. So please post and post often! :)
Hello Friends!
So here's the deal for the bridesmaid dresses:

4. Your semi-finished dresses will arrive to me and we will set a date to pick them up.
5. If needed final alternations will be done by your tailor.
6. Bring your frock to the wedding and look lovely!
We fell in love with Tulum and wanted to share this magical place with our friends and family. The Mayan Riviera has so much to offer. We know that everyone will find something that will spark their interest.
Here are some options for things to do when you are not partying with us!
